Oversized, in everyday life, is called non-standard cargo, which goes beyond the limits and restrictions established for the carriage of goods on public roads or, if we talk about sea transportation, such for the transportation of which it is impossible to use standard container equipment. Specialists, however, distinguish lengthy, bulky and heavy loads. It should be noted that when defining a cargo with “oversized” cargo, not only the parameters of the cargo itself are taken as the basis; length, width, height and weight of the cargo, but the indicators of the entire system “cargo + vehicle”. Thus, oversized cargo loaded onto the vehicle and in total with it will exceed at least one of the following indicators:

• height over 4 meters
• length over 20 meters
• width over 2.55 meters
• total weight (load + vehicle) more than 38 tons

Loading, unloading and transportation of any oversized cargo is a responsible event for the implementation of which a large number of specialists are involved, and success will depend on the correct coordination of actions of all participants. A separate item in the transportation of oversized cargoes should be noted obtaining permits and approval of the route with the responsible and authorized bodies, the organization of support. That is why, when planning the transportation of oversized cargoes, it is extremely important to turn to the very company that can quickly and competently solve the whole range of issues that will inevitably arise when it is executed.
